Published August 6, 2019
In August 2005, a storm called Katrina became infamous when she struck the Gulf Coast, becoming the costliest disaster in US history. She produced record breaking storm surge over thirty feet high and changed the face of the region forever.
StormStock founder Martin Lisius was there with his Arriflex 35-3 camera to document the intense surge and winds on Super 35mm motion picture film. Just recently, Lisius transferred his film footage to UHD 4K video.
