StormStock continues to set standards in content creation

StormStock founder Martin Lisius is the lead creative for the brand.

In 2018, Prairie Pictures’ StormStock became the first to produce and license 16K video content by designing a one-of-a-kind 16K camera system created by filmmaking pioneer Martin Lisius. Now, the team is developing a system to make ‘being in the storm’ more immersive for the viewer. “What we experience out there as we are tossed about by the wind has always been a challenge for us to express on film,” Lisius said. “That challenge is what drives us to find new ways to capture it.” Starting this spring, Lisius and his team will deploy a series of carefully planned-methods in and around storms to offer new perspectives. Content will be available for licensing later this year, so stay tuned.
