Prairie Pictures’ StormStock provides footage to “COP 27” UN Climate Change Conference

 The 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, which begins next week in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, will feature footage filmed by the StormStock team at Prairie Pictures. The conference video will include shots from StormStock’s Hurricane Sandy, Irma, Matthew and Katrina collections

StormStock is home to the world’s only 4K resolution footage of Hurricane Katrina which was filmed by Martin Lisius on Super 35mm and transferred to 4K video at Colorab in Maryland. “We are thrilled to play a part in COP 27, and in any effort that addresses the global challenges we face as stewards of our planet,” said Lisius, StormStock founder and cinematographer.

Prairie Pictures collaborated with Media Hub Advertising in Egypt who produced the video. 

According to the United Nations web site, “the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt will host the 27th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 27), with a view to building on previous successes and paving the way for future ambition to effectively tackle the global challenge of climate change,” November 6 through November 18 in Sharm El Sheikh.
